Dalton Estate Grenache 2016
Dalton's single varietal Grenache is made from selected grapes grown in the rich soils of Israel's Galilee. The vineyard at Even Menachem rises 600m above sea level and the vines grow in rich limestone and terra rossa soil. The grapes are harvested in the late summer and aged 12 months in French barrels. The color of the wine is a deep ruby, and the nose is filled with black pepper and fresh cherry and strawberry aromas. The wine is refreshing and well balanced on the palate with a crips fuity finish that lingers on the tongue. Enjoy this wine with light fish or meat dishes.
